Our Education Initiatives for a Brighter Future
PESAP is deeply committed to enhancing educational opportunities within pastoralist communities. Through strategic programs and community involvement, we strive to break down barriers to education and empower individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary for sustainable livelihoods and community development. Home Schooling
We provide home classes to ensure that children from pastoralists communities have access to quality education, covering school fees, uniforms, and learning materials.
Assessment at Household Level
Our assessment of school going children done at household level help to inform policy makers on the state ofeducation in the country
Community Teachers
We establish and support community learning teachers that provide access to educational resources, technology, and training programs for all ages.
Our Commitment to Environmental Stewardship in ASAL Regions
PESAP is dedicated to promoting sustainable environmental practices and conservation in the arid and semi-arid lands of Northern Kenya. We work closely with pastoralist communities to implement initiatives that protect natural resources, combat desertification, and enhance ecological resilience for future generations. Our approach integrates traditional knowledge with modern techniques to ensure long-term sustainability.
Smart Education for Better Livelihoods

Promotes sack farming as a low-cost, space-saving technique that enables families to grow vegetables using minimal water and land, addressing food insecurity and supporting household nutrition.
